Top 3 books on Father-Daughter Relationship between

No one can deny the fact that there's something very intriguing and special between the bond that is shared between a father and daughter. Father's day 2022 will be celebrated on 19th of June and is going to be celebrated in a few days. For all those bibliophiles we have worked out a list of some books that clearly depicts the relationship between a daughter and father.

1. "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee

This book is one of the loved one and so far it has been translated into 40 plus languages and more million copies of the same have been sold in around the world. The book depicts a beautiful world from the eyes of a young girl. She tells in the book how her father who is a local lawyer keeps everything on stake to save a black man who has been wrongly accused of a heinous crime.

Atticus always stands the moral guide to his daughter Scout and he stands behind her during the turbulence that she faces in South. 2. All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

In the story of the book Laure lives along with her father in Paris where he works! At the age of six because an incident Marie-Laure gets blinded and so to help her out he designs a miniature of their neighbourhood. He does this in order that Laure could remember everything in their neighbour by just touching at the miniature and memorizing them. When she turns 12, the Nazis come to occupy Paris and the father-daughter duo flies to Saint-Malo

Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure's reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum's most valuable and dangerous jewel.

Laure, who gets blind at a very young age, has a very close relationship with her father and his father takes all the steps to make her daughter's life satisfying. He creates a miniature of their neighbourhood to help his daughter in memorizing and then following the path on her own. He keeps hiding gifts for her so that she can develop her mind into a sharp one. He also teaches her daughter Braille.

3. The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson

As Andy, struggles to stay on the roads and never have been living quietly from last five years from the time he has been being tortured by the demons after he returned from Iraq. In all her struggle his daughter Hayley Kincaid always holds his hands and stands by! One fine day Andy retrurns back to the town he has been grown up in the quest that his daughter could attend school.

Relationship between daughter and father in the book

The book showcases a very tender and beautiful relationship between the daughter and father andit depicts it in a way more satisfying way when the father suffers from PTSD. Hayley always lives with the fear that her father may harm himself because of the illness he is suffering from. And, she takes great care of her father as much as he takes care of her.
